CNC DEPARTMENT
The CNC Department is complete with all CAD/CAM services. We have 7 seats of MasterCam
in the computer room. Each CNC machinist designs, programs, sets up and runs their
own mold or pattern. We often supply the tool design to the customer for their 5-axis
trimming of the plastic parts.
STEEL RULE DIE DEPARTMENT
The Steel Rule Die department can bend 3pt and 4pt dies up to 2″ tall. We also make
the buildups and striker plates for the dies.
PATTERN SHOP
We have a complete pattern-making department. We can make patterns by hand or finish
the CNC patterns.
METAL FINISHING DEPARTMENT
Borke Mold has a complete metal fabrication and finishing area. We have a welding
department with tig and mig welders. A 10x10 foot sandblast and paint room with
ventilation. Here is a picture of our Deep hole gundrilling machine. We can drill
up to 1″ diameter and 27″ deep at a time.
VACUUM FORM PARTS
We have 2 sample vacuum formers to make small thin gage parts. We also have a clicker
die that will trim the parts to the correct size
QUAILITY CONTROL
Each mold or pattern is inspected throughout the manufacturing process. We assign
a job number and paperwork to each project. The jobs are inspected by at least 3
people to make sure the patterns and molds meet our standards.
